My wish came true!

The Anna Sui wrap dress is in my closet and I didn't die making it! The whole process was so much easier than I originally thought it would be. Granted it did have a million pieces (24), narrow hems everywhere, pleats, ruffles, and is fully lined. Can I also just say chiffon is intense? Without further adieu...

I absolutely love this dress!

The reason behind my sudden dress making confidence was due to my mom's visit. She was here for just about two weeks and I finally worked up the nerve to just make the darn thing knowing she'd help me whenever I needed it. I was worried about my fabric choice when I first tried it on but I'm so happy with it! Now all I need is a wedding or fancy dinner to go to!

  7. No serger! It took a million years to pin the curves and sewing was super nerve-wracking but I managed to finish it. It's still hard to believe this was my 2nd dress ever.

And thanks for your sweet comments! I love your blog too :D
